Influencing Factors of the Specific Total Loss of Non-Oriented Electrical Steels Processed by Laser Cutting

Specific total loss is one of the most important evaluation indexes for magnetic properties non-oriented electrical steel sheets. The aim this study to investigate influencing mechanisms laser cutting parameters as well sample characteristics on specific thin sheets processed by using a machine learning method. Eight input were finally considered; namely, silicon and manganese contents, thickness sheets, nozzle diameter, power, speed, pressure process gas, defocus, while output parameter, loss, was evaluated. It found that positively correlated with thickness, but negatively gas diameter. In addition, power speed exhibit complicated non-linear relationships loss.
